Learn what Chakra imbalances you may have

Have you felt a lot of fear lately, find it difficult accepting love or cannot focus at all? Can’t find the answers as to why? Perhaps have a look and explore the Chakra system which is our main energetic system that affects our emotions, behaviours, overall mental and physical wellbeing. If you find one of these resonates with you, research on yoga postures or other things you can do to balance a certain chakra, it may help!

  • First Chakra Blocked – Root Chakra / Muladhara

Overly fearful about security and survival, ungrounded, flighty, fearful, feeling of not belonging anywhere, weak constitution; or overly practical, lacking dreams and imagination, plodding, habitual, tied down, difficulty letting go; fear; problems with bones, feet, legs, colon, elimination, weight.

  • Second Chakra Blocked – Sacral chakra – Svadhistana

Emotionally cold, low-energy, low libido, difficulty changing, difficulty experiencing joy, holds back; or hyper-emotional, overly sexual, overly focused on physical pleasure; guilt; problems with reproductive and urinary systems

  • Third Chakra Blocked – Navel chakra – Manipura

Lack of confidence, difficulty manifesting desires, lack of self-esteem; or misuse of power, dominance, over-reliance on will (potentially leading to physical exhaustion); shame; problems with digestion, hypertension, fatigue, adrenals; diabetes, allergies

  • Fourth Chakra Blocked – Heart Chakra – Anahata

4th chakra blockage is especially significant because it is in the middle, uniting the upper and lower chakras. Among other things, blockage can manifest as loneliness, lack of emotional fulfillment and difficulty accepting or giving love, lack of compassion; or as unhealthy relationships, “loving too much,” love manifesting at a low vibration, or a lack of sense of connection to the divine or to nature; unresolved sorrow; problems with heart or lungs; asthma

  • Fifth Chakra Blocked – Throat Chakra – Vishudda

Lack of imagination, lack of vision, lack of concentration, blocked or clouded intuition, can’t see “big picture”; or distorted vision, delusional, distorted imagination, misuse of intuition; or overly reliant on logic and intellect; problems with vision, headaches, nightmares

The Secret – by Rhonda Byrnes – REVIEW

So after reading the secret by Rhonda Byrnes, I thought I have to write a review and let you all in on ‘the secret’. I have read many books that have opened my mind and changed my life through my way of thinking – this is a life altering book and I am truly grateful for finding it.

‘The Secret’ is based on sharing the secret to a fantastic life, a life of abundance and positivity. It is a book that is written by many people; With quotes, true story examples and information on how the secret works. It has scientific research evidence and information. Most of all if you practise what you read you won’t need any of that because you will see things in your life change in front of your eyes – like magic.

Vocabulary wise it’s a good read, not a story but more documented and very simple to follow in short paragraphs and each chapter explains quite easily what it stands for.

the secret works on improving your life – your relationships with people, finances, work/career, health and most importantly your thoughts.

I would suggest you read it over a month or two, not rushing so you can absorb the information and incorporate it into your life.

my experience with the secret –

i began reading the secret in January and I really wasn’t feeling it, it felt forced and I wasn’t open to what it was saying. So, I left it. In May I began again and this time it felt right so I continued. What i first found was that it was based a lot of materialistic things and finances, which made me realize I think of money as a bad thing when really it’s greed that I disagree with. I realised that we attract things through our thoughts in ‘the law of attraction’.

I can’t tell you what the secret and the law of attraction is through this blog but I highly suggest you read it if it interests you.

all I can say is that almost daily occurrences have happened – at first I thought they were coincidences and then there’s just no way when it happens almost daily. Every day I would think of an item of food I needed and every day I would find it in the free box of the hostel I was staying in. So precise it would be mind blowing. Then it started happening with bringing all the kind of people I needed to meet into my life. Then opportunities and experience.

basically if you’re clear in what you want in life all you need to do is ask and believe but most importantly you need gratitude for everything you already have. It truly makes you realise anything is possible, we are able to create anything we want – most of the time we just don’t know what we want because we think so much is impossible – it isn’t!

Show love and gratitude daily for everything – this will change your life in so many ways.

If you’re intrigued – read the secret!

and let me know how you go 🙂

Be open and vulnerable to life

I choose to live my life as open, honest and true to myself and others as I can be. I am aware that I am not perfect and probably act unconsciously at some times as I don’t know it all and am still and always will be learning and discovering life.

Yet I know from the last few months onwards, that I will always try my best to be open and honest in situations.

I was thinking today as to what that might mean. Most people are scared and fear being themselves, being open and honest. With being open we reveal ourselves, not everyone will like that , perhaps we ourselves won’t like all that we see. By being open, we take risk. We can end up letting people in and sharing a beautiful connection or we risk being open to rejection.

When I was ill last year I had no feelings, no emotions. I was numb, all the time. I laughed when I felt I was supposed to and acted sad etc when appropriate.. I just know that I didn’t feel anything and it was pretty horrible .

Being open has transformed my life, yes it means I’m vulnerable and people can easily take advantage when I share myself with them. I am open to rejection, judgement and lies.. Yet since I have been true to myself I have experienced very little of the later. Instead I feel confident in knowing who I am ( for the first time in about 10 years) , I connect with people on a deeper level and people either accept me for who I am or move on.

I’m not saying it’s smooth sailing but being able to out yourself out there shows people you’re human. This blog is pretty real and sometimes I question how people will judge me for what I write , then I realise most of you probably have the same negative thoughts as I do about yourselves or situations. When we’re open we can see that we’re all the same deep down behind our human forms – no matter what we look like we all want the same things – happiness, health, love.

Be true to yourself. Be true to others.

You are enough 🙂
